It may be too early to tell. I know that 2011 still holds tons of sequels, 3D, and at least one film about gnomes. However, this one could be a lock for the 2011 Razzies.

Best Worst Movie Memory

Sometimes I go through some of my older writings. Of course, I don’t like to go too far back. The age, the typos, and the quips that sounded so good at the time; it can get a little depressing. However, for some reason, I couldn’t stay away from my Blu-ray review of “Troll 2.”

First of all, it’s hard to believe that there was a “Troll 2,” let alone the fact that I actually sat through it. Even more surprising is when I recently clicked on my review to reminisce, I noticed that 34 people (not counting myself) gave me a big Facebook thumbs up on the review. Most commenters only bother when they want to crap on you, so I found this gesture to be nothing short of awesome. [Feel free to add your own thumb; I don't mind.]

Worst Movie of 2010: Sex & the City 2

Razzie nominations came out this week, and I think we can just cut to the chase and give everything and anything to “Sex and the City 2.” Yes, even the 3D category.

I was forced to review “Sex and the City 2″ last year. OK — I wasn’t really forced, but being paid for the effort wasn’t even worth the scorching of my eyes that was this movie. If you ever get the urge to go out and rent this movie, you should just flush your money down the toilet. The event would be just as satisfying, with a better plotline.

I loved the series, but hated the first movie. The second movie actually made the first one look like “The Godfather” — and not part 3. If they wanted me to like it, they should have rated it a five-Cosmopolitan minimum.

With or without payment and Cosmos, I probably would have subjected myself to “Sex and the City 2″ because I’ve been riding that train for so long. It really seems pointless to get off now. (See also: “Entourage.”)

However, “Sex & the City 2″ is so bad, that it gets my vote (for all that’s worth) as the absolute worst movie of 2010. I would rather sit through “Saw 3D,” “The Last Airbender,” “The Nutcracker in 3D” and “Little Fockers” in one giant poop-tacular film festival.

Apparently, there are no plans for a third movie. However, if that’s a remote possibility, they’d better get cracking. Otherwise, it’s going to be “Sex and the Senior Center.” I know, I know… it’s wrong to crack on these aging ladies. I’m no spring chicken myself, but I’m also not commenting on my crotch every five seconds on the big screen. At least not yet. I am still waiting for my movie deal.

Sharing the Wealth

Not disgusted enough by the Kardashians, Speidi, the Real Housewives, and everything else VH1, E! and your basic cable channels can offer? The streaming media moguls at Roku have just announced plans to add WealthTV to their lineup, and yeah, it’s pretty much what it sounds like.

WealthTV is a luxury lifestyle network. If you were a big fan of “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous,” this is sort of like a continuous loop. However, there’s no Robin Leach (that I know of), and it’s in sparkling high-def.

Expect “world travel, outrageous cars, culinary delights, top fashion, international news, movies” and a ton of tacky crap you’ll never be able to afford. Even better, if you want to watch someone else’s privileged life, it’s going to cost you $2.99 per month. Enjoy!

Buy Me This: Orb BR Software

I haven’t been this excited about software since Frogger came out on the original PlayStation. Orb Networks is coming out the Orb BR, a software disc that you pop into your web-enabled Blu-ray player and it actually makes that web something worthwhile. From there, you’ll think your player has become possessed, streaming magical things like Netflix, Hulu Plus, YouTube, and more — and supposedly all in HD (where available).

Just when you thought they had put every chemical known to man into fast food, Taco Bell comes through for the win. I love Fritos as much as the next junk food junkie. However, do people need to add them to a burrito? It’s not like it’s broccoli and needs sneaking…

Sit through this commercial. What are those ladies really thinking? I’m guessing it’s something like, “Fritos on your burrito? Yes, you are officially the most disgusting man alive.”

Backdraft: Remember when Billy Baldwin was THE Baldwin? Neither do I. This is a nice (but cheesy) refresher course.

Howl: Proof that James Franco looks hot in anything.

24: Season 8 – The Complete Final Season: Jack Bauer + explosions equals fun for most of the family.

The Town: I love rooting for the underdog. For some reason, Ben Affleck is that underdog. Nice to see him get some props here.
